Chemistry and Chemical Engineering No 1 in UK
The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has just been ranked as number 23 in the world and number 1 in the UK by a survey by the Thomson Reuters organisation.
This lists the top organisations researching chemistry with more than 1000 publications over the last ten years in terms of citations. This comes on the back of two recent surveys by QS where both Chemistry and Chemical Engineering were ranked in the top 100 in the world and joint 6th in both subjects in the UK.
These rankings coupled with the fact that the two of only four UK chemists named in the top 100 in the world are in the School in terms of their citation records caps an excellent year for the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in QUB.
