Prize for Young Chemist at first UK-Malaysia-Ireland conference

Azman Ma'amor, a final year PhD student within the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering recently won the prize was for the best presenter in ‘chemical, bioprocess and food engineering’ at the first United Kingdom-Malaysia-Ireland Engineering Science (UMIES) Conference held in Belfast.

Azman, a University Malaya scholarship holder, won the prize for his talk on “Direct Correlation between Batch Slurry Reactor and Batch-Recycle Trickle Bed Reactor in Fine Chemical Processing”.
