We welcome all international students who wish to study Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Queen’s University, Belfast. We have a long tradition of educating Chinese students with, in the last 8 years, more than 80 students from China graduating from the school. Currently there are ~40 Chinese students studying for their academic degrees within the School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering. Not only we offer the best a UK university can offer to overseas students in terms of teaching, learning and academic support, we also support students in many other areas which make their study and life at Queen's an excellent experience including:
In addition to direct entry into our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes we have a number of agreements with Chinese Universities which offer split-site study for degrees and then entry into a taught masters or masters by research degree.
With East China University of Science and Technology and Beijing Institute of Technology we offer a 3+1+1 pathway whereby students study for three years in China and then do their final year in Queen’s University before going on to a masters degree
With Beijing University of Chemical Technology we offer a 2+2+1 pathway whereby students study for two years in China and then complete their final two years in Queen’s University before going on to a masters degree.
